Canada’s culture and festivals are a fair representation of the artistic, culinary, literary, humor, musical, political, and social elements within the country. Although Canada’s history involves a strong European cultural influence, over time elements of Canada’s immigrant populations have been incorporated into the mainstream culture. Festivals attract visitors worldwide and range from the internationally acclaimed Montreal Jazz Festival, to a Winter Carnival in Quebec City. Other well-known festivals include the Vancouver Symphony of Fire Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and the Celtic Colors International Festival.
